Spartan Crested Miniature Helmet

Antiqued brass, a blackened horsehair crest, and a tail long enough to sweep the shelf it sits on.

The Corinthian shape is all cheek pieces and a narrow T of an eye slot, with a pitted antique finish that makes it look dug up rather than bought. The crest sits in a raised holder along the dome and the horsehair runs back well past the neck. Mounted on a turned wood stand, it is the loudest of the miniatures and the one that gets picked up first.

Miniature display helmet in Corinthian form with antiqued brass finish, raised crest holder and long black horsehair crest and tail. Supplied on a turned wood display stand. Display piece, not intended to be worn.
