WORST, (The) ST (2006) CD

Street punk does not negotiate. It shows up loud, it means it, and it does not care whether you think it should be more melodic. The Worst's 2006 self-titled debut understood this completely.

The Worst came out of the Australian street punk scene at a time when that scene was scrappy, underfunded, and absolutely not interested in crossover appeal. This is oi-adjacent, boot-worn, pub-PA punk with no aspirations beyond the room it was recorded in and the streets it came from. For fans of the genre, that is exactly the recommendation.
