WHO, (The) Mod Patch
Before punk had a name, The Who were already breaking equipment and making everyone else look like they were trying too hard.
The Mod scene that birthed The Who in early-60s London was one of the original youth subcultures to weaponise style as aggression, and this patch carries that lineage. The target logo is one of the most loaded icons in rock history, the kind of thing that looks equally right on a fishtail parka or a leather jacket, a nod to a moment when working-class kids in Shepherd's Bush decided that attitude and amphetamines were a perfectly valid aesthetic philosophy. Pete Townshend auto-destructed gear on stage before destruction was a genre. That energy belongs in the alternative fashion conversation, full stop.
Woven sew-on patch. 90mm x 90mm round. Made in the UK.
