IV: Empires Collapse, their fourth record from 2013, is the sound of a band that had been living on the road long enough to strip everything back to pure aggression. The Californians had already earned their place in the modern thrash revival, but this one hit differently, tighter, meaner, with a genuinely dark edge that put it closer to the crossover end of the punk and metal underground than straight retro worship. If your record collection sits somewhere between Bonded by Blood and early Sepultura and you haven't heard this, fix that.
