Victoria Francés spent the 2000s making gothic romance feel like high art, and the alternative fashion world is still not over it. Her Favole series in particular turned melancholy into something you could hang on a wall, a vision of vampires and cemeteries and lace that felt less Hot Topic and more illustrated manuscript.
