Before they got weird, Tool got weird. Opiate dropped in 1992 and made it immediately clear that this band was not here to make friends with radio programmers.

The EP that launched a thousand psychology textbooks, Opiate sits at the intersection of progressive metal and something genuinely unsettling, the sound of a band that had already figured out exactly what they wanted to say and how loud they wanted to say it. This logo patch is from that era, clean and direct, before the sacred geometry and the Fibonacci sequences took over the artwork. Sew it on and let people know you've done the homework.
