Hyperstition, the idea that fiction becomes real through belief and repetition. It's a concept with deep roots in chaos magic and accelerationist theory, and Talk Show decided it was the right name for an EBM post-punk record. They were correct.

Talk Show operate in the space where cold, mechanical body music meets the anxiety of contemporary post-punk, think cold-wave drum machines and the kind of basslines that feel like bad news arriving on time. Hyperstition has the grey, fluorescent-lit tension of Editors at their most gothic, filtered through a darker, more industrial lens. It's music for people who read theory and still go to the show. The dark aesthetic here isn't costumed, it's structural.
