SLAYER Hell Awaits Wall Flag

1985. Slayer released Hell Awaits and the thrash metal arms race got a lot more serious. This was before Reign in Blood made them household names in households where parents had given up, and it hits differently for it, rawer and longer and genuinely unsettling.

The Hell Awaits art is iconic dark aesthetic fuel, all demonic architecture and bad intentions. It looks exactly right on a wall flag. Whether it's going up in a bedroom, a band room, or somewhere a landlord will never approve of, this is a piece of metal history that earns its place. Kerry King would not be offended.
