"Youth Gone Wild" is still an anthem that holds its ground thirty-five years later, "18 and Life" is one of the great heavy rock ballads whether you admit it or not, and Sebastian Bach's voice sits somewhere between a weapon and a force of nature throughout. This is glam metal that earned its keep, the kind of record that teenagers in the late 80s put on and felt understood by, and that sounds just as vital when it comes out of a turntable in 2024. The Melbourne alternative scene has always had room for records like this.
