Jørgen Munkeby has spent two decades making black metal that alienates purists and then daring them to do something about it. Feberdrömmar Del Ett, released in 2024, continues Shining's tradition of weaponising jazz, prog and pure psychological unease against the genre's more orthodox corners.
This is Part One of a fever dream, and it earns the name. Guest vocals from members of Peste Noire and Marduk show up not as cameos but as genuine collaborators in the chaos, which tells you everything about the headspace this record operates in.
