SEPULTURA Quadra Patch

By the time Quadra dropped in 2020, a lot of people had already written the post-Cavalera chapter of Sepultura off. Those people were wrong. Derrick Green and the boys put out one of the most focused, structurally ambitious records of their career, a four-part concept album pulling from Roman history and hitting harder than most bands half their age.

The Quadra patch belongs on the jacket of someone who actually did the reading, who knows the Morbid Visions-to-Roots arc, who has an opinion on the split. Brazilian death and thrash metal doesn't get the flowers it deserves in the global alternative fashion conversation, and this is a small act of correction. Woven detail, clean lines, the kind of patch that survives a decade of shows.
