Sophomore albums are where a lot of bands either figure out what they are or disappear trying. Sainted Sinners figured it out.

Back With A Vengeance is ten tracks written and produced entirely by Frank Pané, which tells you everything about the vision at work here. This is hard rock with a clear lineage, somewhere in the tradition of late-era Dio, classic Dokken, and the better end of melodic heavy metal, but without the hollow sheen that tends to plague the revival crowd. It earns the title. The debut introduced the band, this one made the case for why they deserved your attention beyond the first listen.
