The vest never really left, it just had to wait for the right crowd. This one was made in-house at ALT CVLT, which means it was designed by people who actually wear this stuff, not a boardroom trend committee.

The Recess Vest is the kind of layering piece that works over a corset at a goth night, over a thermal skivvy when the Melbourne weather does its thing, or thrown over absolutely nothing when the vibe calls for it. It's a dark aesthetic staple that earns its place in the rotation because it gets out of the way and lets the outfit breathe. Two utility pockets are included and fully detachable, which is either practical genius or a philosophical statement about the nature of attachment. Probably both.
