RAINBOW Finyl Vinyl CD Signed 1986

Ritchie Blackmore built Rainbow to be his vehicle after Deep Purple, and then kept rebuilding it every time a singer got too famous to stay. Graham Bonnet lasted one album, Down to Earth, which gave the world "Since You Been Gone" and "All Night Long" before Bonnet's hat and his attitude proved incompatible with Blackmore's vision. He was gone by 1981. The fact that this compilation carries his signature makes it a genuine artefact.

Finyl Vinyl is the 1986 career-spanning double LP that rounded up Rainbow's best across every lineup, a hard rock and heavy metal document that moves from Dio-era mysticism through to the more radio-friendly Bonnet and Joe Lynn Turner years. This signed CD copy connects directly to one of the most turbulent, most gifted chapters in that story. Bonnet's voice was a different animal entirely, raw melodic hard rock that influenced a generation of LA metal singers who probably never admitted it.
