Radiant Rider-Waite Tarot Deck

The Rider-Waite deck turned 115 in 2024 and it still hasn't lost its grip. Pamela Colman Smith drew all 78 cards on a deadline, largely without credit, and accidentally created the visual language that basically every tarot deck since has been riffing on. That's punk, actually.

The Radiant Rider-Waite takes those iconic illustrations and turns the saturation all the way up, jewel-bright, almost glowing, like someone held the original up to a stained glass window. Virginijus Poshkus's recolouring doesn't mess with the symbolism, it just makes the imagery hit harder on the table. For anyone coming to tarot through a dark aesthetic or occult lens, this is a solid entry point that doesn't talk down to you. The imagery is still rich, the symbolism is intact, and the cards look dramatic in the right light.
