With Misfits members, Ramones alumni and a rotating cast of punk royalty in the mix, Osaka Popstar sits at the intersection of horror imagery, infectious hooks and serious scene credentials. The Devil Dog Skeleton patch is exactly the kind of art that belongs in this world, graphic and grinning in equal measure. If your jacket already has Misfits and Blitzkid patches on it, there's a gap here with this thing's name on it. Punk rock with a dark aesthetic streak and zero ironic distance.
