OPETH Sorceress Patch
Opeth spent the first half of their career making some of the most devastating death metal on the planet, then had the audacity to pivot into full-blown prog rock and somehow made that work too. Sorceress, their 2016 album, sits comfortably in the latter camp, all vintage organ swells, acoustic melancholy, and Mikael Åkerfeldt's clean vocals doing more emotional damage than most bands manage with distortion.
This woven patch pulls the album's artwork into something you can actually wear, which is the correct response to a record this good. Sew it onto a denim jacket that's already too heavy, a canvas tote you take to the record shop, or a backpack that's seen better days. It belongs in the same rotation as your Gojira and Anathema patches, somewhere between the progressive and the crushing.
Woven sew-on patch. 75mm wide x 100mm tall. Made in Sweden.
