MOTLEY CRUE Theatre of Pain Back Patch
Theatre of Pain came out in 1985 and went platinum anyway, despite being the album Motley Crue made while everything was falling apart. That's the energy.
By the time this record dropped, the Crue were the most dangerous thing on the Sunset Strip, or at least the most hospitalised. The album gave the world Home Sweet Home, a power ballad so effective it reportedly had to be pulled from MTV rotation because it was dominating the charts and blocking other bands. The Theatre of Pain artwork is peak mid-80s heavy metal iconography, skulls and neon and zero apologies, and it belongs on the back of a jacket that's seen some things. If your patch collection includes Poison, Skid Row, Ratt, or Cinderella, this one fills the gap it's been waiting for.
Official licensed woven back patch. Sew-on. Measures 305mm wide at the top, 260mm at the bottom, 360mm tall. Heavy metal, USA origin.
