METALLICA Wherever I May Roam 2013 Patch

The Black Album turned thirty-something and it still hasn't apologised for anything. Wherever I May Roam was the road warrior's anthem, a slow burn groove riff that proved Metallica could hold a room of fifty thousand people completely still before crushing them.

This 2013 patch uses the serpent and road imagery from one of the album's most visually distinct singles, the kind of heavy metal iconography that translates just as well onto a backpack as it does a battle jacket. Metallica's influence on everything from grunge to alternative metal to modern streetwear is pretty much impossible to overstate, and a patch like this earns its place next to your Slayer and Pantera additions without having to justify itself.
