KORN Issues Wall Flag

Issues dropped in 1999 and Korn had already done the thing where a band peaks critically, gets massive commercially, and somehow both things are true at once. The album went to number one in the US, sold millions, and still had Jonathan Davis screaming about things no radio programmer should have okayed.

The Issues artwork, that creepy doll-child face, became shorthand for a particular flavour of late-nineties psychological dread. It aged well, which is more than you can say for most of what surrounded it. This flag belongs in the kind of room that commits to a dark aesthetic, not as background noise but as a genuine declaration of allegiance to the era when alternative music had actual edges. Hang it, drape it, wear it as a cape if the occasion demands.
