Before nu metal became a punchline it had a stranglehold on alternative radio, and Korn were the reason.

All Mixed Up is the remix and live EP that came out during the band's commercial peak, pulling apart tracks from their back catalogue and handing them to producers with very different ideas about what a Korn song should sound like. It's a document of a band at the exact moment the music industry was throwing everything at them to see what stuck. Some of it is bleak and heavy in the way the originals were. Some of it goes harder into industrial and electronic territory, which, honestly, holds up better than you'd expect. There's a reason this era of dark, aggressive alternative music is back in rotation among people who weren't even born when Follow the Leader dropped. The KoЯn logo on a shirt means something again.
