Chainmail has been doing the same job for about a thousand years. Kaiko worked out it also feels extraordinary sitting on a collarbone.

This is a continuous loop of hand woven 304 stainless steel that drapes across the chest like a bib collar, or doubles over into something heavier and closer to the throat. It reads as armour at a gig and as a regulation tool at your desk, which is the whole point. The weight spreads across the neck, traps and sternum with no compression and no trapped heat, because there is no fabric casing to hold it in. Metal stays cool on skin, and colder again if you keep it in the fridge. Off the body it lies flat as a fidget, so push the rings in any direction and the pattern shifts under your fingers. Good for hands that go looking for something to pick at.

Material: 304 grade stainless steel. Weight: approx 83g. Length: approx 80cm, or 40cm laid flat and doubled. Woven ring by ring by hand, not machine made. Supplied in a hinged window tin.

Recommended for ages 14 and over. Not suitable for unsupervised use by children, and not suitable for anyone who may pull hard at the neck area, as it can pose a choking hazard if used inappropriately.
