A Ukrainian band with a Ukrainian singer fronting one of the heaviest grooves in modern metal, and the world still hasn't fully processed it. Tatiana Shmayluk's voice alone breaks people, but it's the band's refusal to stay in a lane that makes Macro genuinely disorienting in the best way possible.

Released in 2019, Macro is the record where Jinjer stopped being a secret and became an argument. Polyrhythmic riffs that could floor a Gojira fan sit next to passages so melodic they feel like a different band entirely, and somehow it coheres. The production is massive.
