Before Tatiana Shmayluk became one of the most-watched vocalists in metal, JINJER were already doing something that made people stop mid-scroll: that bass-led groove, those precise genre-pivots, that voice switching from a gut-punch growl to something hauntingly clean without warning. Originally dropped in 2016, this limited 2018 re-release brought their debut full-length to a wider audience that had spent two years watching the "Pisces" live clip accumulate millions of views and wondering what else these Ukrainians had. The answer: a record that pulls from progressive metal, djent and metalcore without ever sounding like it's ticking boxes. It sounds like a band with something to prove who also knew exactly how to prove it.
