IRON MAIDEN Somewhere in Time Back Patch

1986. Iron Maiden went neon and cyberpunk with Somewhere in Time, divided a few purists, and produced one of the most visually arresting album covers in heavy metal history. Eddie rendered in a blade-runner cityscape, laser guns, a skyline full of Easter eggs. It aged extraordinarily well.

As a back patch this one is a statement of taste. Somewhere in Time is not the obvious Maiden pick, which is exactly why wearing it signals something, you know the catalogue, you have opinions, you probably also own Powerslave on vinyl. The woven construction does justice to the artwork's detail and the neon colour palette stays vivid on a black denim or leather background. A natural companion to Judas Priest, Dio, or Accept patches if you're deep in the NWOBHM and classic metal end of the battle jacket spectrum.
