Round patches hit different on a battle jacket, they break up the rectangles, anchor a sleeve, or hold down the centre back like a coat of arms. This one is Iron Maiden at their most unhinged, pre-Number of the Beast, when the NWOBHM was still a street-level movement and Eddie was a genuinely threatening figure rather than a beloved mascot.
