HIM Logo Heartagram Strip Patch

The heartagram is one of those symbols that genuinely crossed over without selling out, which is either a miracle of design or a testament to how hard Ville Valo worked to make love metal a real thing people said without irony.

HIM built something singular out of Finnish gothic rock and old-school hard rock romanticism, and this strip patch is the clean, iconic version: logo and heartagram together, exactly as it appeared on a million bedroom walls and denim jackets in the early 2000s. It belongs in the company of The 69 Eyes, Negative, and Lacrimas Profundere, and it still holds up on any jacket currently in rotation. The dark aesthetic has always had room for doomed romance, and nobody did doomed romance better than Helsinki's finest.
