Spacehawks landed in 2013 and proved that Dave Brock and the ever-rotating cast of cosmic travellers still had the fuel to burn. This is heavy, hypnotic, lysergic psych-rock built for long drives through the dark and longer nights in your own head. Hawkwind exist outside of genre cycles entirely, which is exactly why they belong here. Progressive, psychedelic, and locked in somewhere between space rock and proto-metal, Spacehawks is the band doing exactly what they've always done, and that's the point.
