GARBAGE: Bleed Like Me Vinyl LP

Shirley Manson once said the album was about addiction, self-harm, and eating disorders, and somehow it still slapped at every house party in 2005. Bleed Like Me is the one Garbage record that went fully raw, ditched the chrome-plated cool, and bled all over the carpet. Good.

Four albums in and Garbage were done being pretty about it. Butch Vig kept the production enormous but the songs hit like confessions, not anthems. Bad Boyfriend, Why Do You Love Me, the title track, this is alt-rock that actually had something to say about bodies and pain and surviving yourself. It found its audience in every kid who knew what the lyrics meant without having to Google them. Now it's finally on vinyl, silver coloured, which is exactly the aesthetic the album deserves.
