Flying Lizard Trio Framed Specimens

Before anyone built a wingsuit, evolution already had the patent. Flying lizards, known as Draco, were gliding between trees long before humans thought to try it, and they look significantly cooler doing it.

This framed trio from Bugs & Bits presents three genuine Draco specimens, the so-called flying dragons of Southeast Asia. Those extraordinary wing-like structures aren't wings at all, strictly speaking, they're elongated ribs covered in a thin membrane of skin that the lizard flares open to catch air and glide up to eight metres between trees. They spend their lives hunting ants and termites in the forest canopy, which is both a very efficient and very specific way to live. Displayed together in a single deep frame, the trio shows off the full drama of the extended patagium in a way a single specimen simply can't. Dark aesthetic collectors and naturalist weirdos alike will understand why this belongs on a wall.
