The Inception Of Darkness is their 2012 full-length, and it does exactly what the best progressive power metal does: builds atmosphere until it collapses under its own weight, in the best possible way.

If you've spent time with the European prog metal circuit, Anubis Gate and Seventh Wonder territory, you'll find something familiar here but with a distinctly Australian heaviness underneath it. EYEFEAR don't dress things up in excess synth gloss. The riffs do real work. The compositions breathe and then crush. This is the kind of album that rewards headphones and a dark room, not background listening.
