Recorded when vocalist L-G Petrov was nineteen years old, Left Hand Path is one of those full-lengths where every element lands exactly where it should, the production, the riffs, the pacing, all of it sits inside its own logic. Tracks like Bitter Loss and the title track remain touchstones for anyone who takes Swedish death metal seriously, which is the only way to take it.
