Swedish hard rock has a very specific frequency, somewhere between arena-sized hooks and the kind of heavy that makes you turn it up twice. Dynazty have been sitting in that pocket for over a decade, and Final Advent is them at full tilt.

Released in 2022, this one leans harder than earlier records, pushing into power metal territory without losing the melodic instincts that make them one of the better-kept secrets in the genre. Nils Molin's voice is the obvious headline, but the riff work holds its own. If your record collection lives between Crashdiet and Firewind and you're always looking for the gap in between, this fills it cleanly. Dark, hook-driven, and seriously underrated in the alternative metal conversation.
