The early 2000s were a strange time. Nu-metal was everywhere, Hot Topic was a religion, and Disturbed were soundtracking the angst of an entire generation with that unmistakable wah-dug-dug-dug riff. Some things age badly. This one just gets louder.

Disturbed hit different because they actually knew how to write a song underneath all the aggression, and tracks like Down With The Sickness and Stupify still hit the room like a fist. This officially licensed textile flag is exactly the kind of thing that belongs on the wall above a record collection that also contains Mudvayne, Godsmack and at least one Dope album nobody talks about anymore. Dark aesthetic for a bedroom, rehearsal space, or anywhere that needs more metal and less natural light.
