DISSECTION Storm of the Light's Bane Patch
Sweden, 1995. Jon Nödtveidt and crew dropped Storm of the Light's Bane and essentially wrote the rulebook for melodic black metal, then refused to let anyone else use it without consequences. It remains one of the most vicious, beautiful records in the genre, and the artwork is iconic enough that it belongs on the back of a jacket.
This patch represents a specific kind of collector knowledge. You don't put Dissection on your vest because it looks cool, you put it there because Where Dead Angels Lie hit you somewhere vital and you've never fully recovered. Black metal, dark aesthetic, Swedish steel, and the kind of uncompromising attitude the alternative scene was built on. This is the patch equivalent of a very strong opinion about second-wave black metal.
Official licensed woven sew-on patch, not iron-on. Approximately 75mm wide x 100mm tall.
