Heavy metal and Southern rock have been uneasy bedfellows since at least Vulgar Display of Power era, but Dezperadoz lean into the contradiction harder than most, dragging thrash aggression through the dust and heat of classic Americana. An Eye For An Eye is the sound of that tension paying off.

A German band playing Southern metal is its own kind of absurdist commitment, and Dezperadoz pull it off with genuine conviction. Alternative and metal fans who like their heavy with a bit of red dirt under the fingernails will find a lot to like here.
