DEATH Leprosy Patch

1988. Chuck Schuldiner looked at the death metal he helped create and decided to make it smarter, weirder, and more technically demanding than anyone was comfortable with. The result was Leprosy, and nothing was the same after.

This patch carries the album artwork that signalled death metal's first real leap forward. Before Human, before Individual Thought Patterns, there was this record proving the genre could have a brain without losing its throat. It belongs on a jacket that's seen some shows.
