CRASS Patch
There's a reason Crass still makes people uncomfortable. Founded in 1977 out of a commune in Essex, they didn't just play anarcho-punk, they lived it, printed it, screamed it, and dared you to do the same. Forty-odd years later, the questions they were asking haven't gone anywhere.
The Flight Or Fancy? design pulls from one of the most politically charged catalogs in punk history. This is a band that self-released, self-distributed, and actively refused to be co-opted by the music industry while simultaneously selling records to hundreds of thousands of people. Wearing the logo isn't nostalgia, it's a position. Fans of Poison Girls, Conflict, Nausea, and Hawkwind will know exactly what that means.
Woven patch, 105mm x 100mm. Sew-on. Available from ALT CVLT in Frankston, your home for alternative fashion, punk, and dark culture in Melbourne's south-east.
