Scream Aim Fire was the moment Bullet for My Valentine decided Waking the Fallen wasn't the ceiling, it was the floor. The 2008 sophomore album doubled down on the twin-guitar aggression, went bigger on the anthems, and made a generation of kids from Bridgend feel like the most dangerous city in Wales had something to say.

BFMV never quite got the credit they deserved from the metal purists, but anyone who came up through metalcore in the mid-2000s knows exactly what these records meant.
