Let Sleeping Corpses Lie takes its title from the 1974 Spanish horror film and absolutely delivers on that promise, dragging zombie death metal out of the grave with the kind of lurching, gore-soaked conviction that made the early Floridian scene so viscerally compelling.

This is ugly music made with total commitment. Riffs that rot at the edges, production that sounds like it was recorded in a crypt because that's exactly the right call, and a devotion to the macabre that feels earned rather than costumed.
