There are Australian metal bands, and then there is Armoured Angel, who were doing things to the speed-thrash-death intersection before most people had a name for it.

Melbourne's own dark underbelly has always had a complicated, proud relationship with Armoured Angel. Active since the mid-80s, they are one of those bands that the underground kept alive on tape trades and word of mouth long after the mainstream moved on. This triskelion patch is a piece of that history, the kind of thing you earn the right to wear by actually knowing the catalogue. Officially licensed, which matters, because these guys deserve the respect.
