Amy Taylor wrote this album in lockdown and came out swinging, all raw nerve energy and zero patience for anything soft. Recorded with producer Dan Luscombe, it's the sound of a band who spent years in Melbourne pubs earning every riff, then pointed all of that at something bigger. "Knifey" alone could soundtrack the entire conversation about what it means to exist as a woman in this country. This limited blue vinyl pressing from 2021 is the one you actually want on your shelf, not the standard black. The Melbourne underground claimed these four immediately, and the rest of the world caught up fast.
