WEEZER Band Photo Tee

Weezer wrote a song about a sweater and it became one of the defining alternative rock tracks of the nineties. That's the whole pitch, really. The Blue Album hit in 1994 and somehow managed to be deeply uncool and completely essential at the same time, which is a harder trick to pull off than most bands ever manage.

The band photo format suits them. Rivers Cuomo in thick-rimmed glasses, looking exactly like someone who would reference the Hash Pipe in a major label recording session and get away with it. Weezer sit in that weird Venn diagram between power pop, grunge-adjacent guitar tones, and outright nerd culture, which means their merch belongs in a shop that doesn't make people choose a lane. Alternative fashion has always had room for the kids who were too weird for the jocks and too earnest for the cool kids.
