Calm Before the Storm is the 1987 compilation that arrived right as the second wave was picking up what Cronos, Mantas and Abaddon had thrown down, and the Norwegians were paying very close attention. Venom never got the credit they deserved while they were doing it, which is exactly the kind of origin story that makes wearing this tee feel like a statement of historical record.
