Tracks drawn from obscure psych, folk, and proto-prog sources, run through Ulver's signature dark atmospheric production. Kristoffer Rygg's voice, untethered from tremolo and blastbeats for years by this point, sits in the mix like smoke. It's a document of a band who understand that the weirder corners of 1967 and the weirder corners of contemporary dark experimental music are closer together than most people think.
