By 1987, the glam metal machine was eating itself alive and Twisted Sister had the receipts. Love Is For Suckers marked the band's pivot away from the anthemic working-class fury of Stay Hungry into something slicker, more radio-ready, and honestly a bit more fun than its reputation suggests. Dee Snider was running out of label patience and somehow still managed to squeeze out a record full of hooks sharp enough to draw blood.

This is late-period Twisted Sister doing what they did when the cameras were still rolling and the hair was still enormous. It's not You Can't Stop Rock 'n' Roll, but nothing is. What it is, is a document of a band refusing to quietly disappear, which, if you know anything about Dee Snider, should surprise absolutely no one. This USA pressing comes with four bonus tracks, making it the version worth tracking down.
