Some records announce themselves politely. Kill For Satan is not one of them.

Tsjuder's debut full-length from 2000 is the kind of Norwegian black metal that makes you feel like you've wandered into a forest and the forest is not happy about it. Recorded with all the warmth of a Norwegian winter and twice the aggression, it's raw, fast, and completely uninterested in your comfort. While Dimmu Borgir was adding keyboards and Satyricon was finding their groove, Tsjuder were in Oslo making something that sounded like it was recorded specifically to offend moderates. Decades on, it still works.
