Before Warren Fitzgerald was producing Fear Factory records and Josh Freese was drumming for literally everyone, these four were writing songs with the structural tightness of Bad Religion and the absolute refusal to take any of it seriously. That combination is rarer than it sounds. The pop-punk hooks are immaculate, the skate punk energy is relentless, and the lyrics remain funnier than most comedy records released that decade.
