The Art of Rebellion is the record where Mike Muir and the ST machine hit a commercial peak without blinking, funk-metal muscle, crossover hardcore grit, and that unmistakable Suicidal swagger that had been there since the Venice Beach days. It spawned "Asleep at the Wheel" and "How Will I Laugh Tomorrow" era energy refined into something tighter and weirder. Dismissed by some purists at the time, which is basically a guarantee that it aged well. This is a 1992 pressing, the kind of vinyl that belongs on a shelf next to your Sepultura and your Fishbone records, because genre lines were always for people with less interesting taste.
