SOLSTAFIR Patch

Iceland has given the world volcanic landscapes, sagas written in blood and frost, and Sólstafir, a band that has spent thirty years refusing to stay in any lane. Post-metal, black metal, shoegaze, dark Americana, whatever they felt like that decade, they've dragged it all into something that sounds like standing on a glacier at 2am.

The patch game respects bands that commit to a vision, and Sólstafir's whole aesthetic, that sweeping, desolate, Nordic darkness, translates perfectly onto a vest sitting alongside your Neurosis and Cult of Luna patches. This one's for the long players, the people who sat with Ára bátur for its full twenty-two minutes and didn't skip a second.
